Created in a multistep dance between the glassblower and the molten glass, the organic, sculptural texture of our Vermont Crackle Evergreen reflects and refracts light. (Much like moonlight on the pines.) At Simon Pearce, fine glassware is still hand-blown in the traditional style. Simon Pearce opened his first glassblowing shop in 1971 in Kilkenny, Ireland. Ten years later, the factory was moved to Quechee, Vermont, where it remains today. The Ottauquechee River provides clean, hydroelectric power for the facility.
