Lady Bug Box

This charming box is handcrafted of walnut with a shape inspired by the ladybug, symbol of good fortune and prosperity. The round base showcases dovetail-joint inserts of ebony that form an eye-catching geometric pattern of ascending stairs. The lid slides open in half, mirroring the movement of the ladybug's elytra, and is fastened at the top with a bronzed-finished brass demilune piece. The leather-covered interior is divided in compartments and features a square section in the middle with a lid covered with orange leather and secured with a pin-shaped knob. Only three pieces available.
