Sterling Silver Rectangular Biscuit Boxr With 24kt Gold Plated Interior

Large biscuit box entirely handmade starting from a raw sheet of 925 silver.The body was hammered into a rectangular shape and then the bottom was soldered.A leaf and berry motif was embossed on all four sides of the box.The lid, also hammered by hand, perfectly follows the shape of the biscuit box.A half-round silver wire handle was soldered to the top of the lid ensuring a secure grip.The inside of the box was finished with a satin 24kt gold plating.Made in Florence - Italy in a historic silversmith's workshop at the beginning of the 20th century for ARVAL ARGENTI VALENZA
