These "Jet Age" Lucite and chrome swivel chairs by Charles Hollis Jones feature elegant fan backs. Currently, one upholstered seat cushion has a tiger print while the other is covered by midnight blue fabric. A "designer’s designer," Hollis Jones (b. 1945) received numerous commissions from Herbert Bayer, Raymond Loewy and Paul Laszlo. Other patrons of Hollis Jones included Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Diana Ross, Lucille Ball, Johnny Carson, and Tennessee Williams, to name a few.
