Burke Saarinen Style Tulip Chair, Circa 1965

Modeled after Eero Saarinen's Tulip series, The Arkana shelll chair was designed by Mauurice Burke in 1965 for the Arkana company in England. It features the classic aluminum hourglass base and egg shell fiberglass seat that have remained a prime example of timeless Modern design since it's conception. Base is cast aluminum with white, lacquer paint finish. Seat features swivel action, and shell is molded fiberglass with reinforced plastic bonded finish. 1 available.
