Gorgeous antique hand carved shell chair from Venice. Likely done in the 1800’s as a piano chair. The chair has been repaired. It swivels, but currently does not adjust up or down. The seat part also has some wobble to it. You can safely sit in it, but it could benefit from some tlc and further repair. These are gorgeous and super hard to find. I’ve seen them pictured in vintage issues of World of Interiors and Cabana magazines.
