Antique early 19th c. American Classical Federal carved mahogany Empire piano stool circa 1810. Profusely carved with acanthus leaf and reeding. The seat height adjustable in height. Wonderful old iron cross support under the seat with brass ferrule. Boston or New York. Measures 20" x 14 1/4" diameter. Good condition - wear and spots on yellow upholstery. Displays well.
