A very early striking and unique Brass & cast iron "Bradley & Hubbard" Industrial Machine Age Student table lamp with original patented glass Inkwell circa 1910's. The faux marble weighted cast iron base and suspension armature has elegant styling that echos the earlier Art Nouveau period while leaning towards the Craftsman aesthetic of the Art & Crafts movement to come, all very well engineered and assembled as all B & H fixtures of that period were. Original complete Inkwell is a solid heavy chunk of cast Crystal glass with its inner well float and Bakelite inscribed lid still intact.
