Would AI gloss over the fact that this poor dragon has only four toes and fingers (if that’s what dragons’ digits are called). We know that dragons associated with royalty all have five digits (is this because have five allows one to gather up more of the crops grown by peasants?). So this disadvantaged dragon has but four digits, a commoner by any definition. At least he’s the color of royal blue, although isn’t Chinese royalty more fond of yellow? We’ll never find out what AI might have said, because we don’t want to squander water and electrical resources on such a minor matter, not to mention that we enjoy throwing words around. Our lamp, made of a sturdy porcelain, sits on a wooden base of some nature. Rosewood? Or…a lesser wood stained to look just like rosewood? The shade is brand new and most likely fabricated in the same land where the lamp was. Fabric over paper. Our lamp is petit, although it has a huge visual impact. It measures about 15 1/4 high to the top of the chromed, Art Deco-inspired finial, a thing of beauty in and of itself. The wooden base measures about 4x6 inches. The diameter of the shade, 10 inches at the bottom; it is about 6 1/2 high.
