Beautiful pair of handblown Murano glass lamps filled with 24k gold leaf flecking (aventurine). Attributed to Barovier e Toso, the top rims of the glass portions have a fused, draped, and scalloped design all hand blown and pinch-formed. The flowers are a brass metal or a lacquered tinplate used to make decorative objects. The flowers and leaves on these lamps have great patina while maintaining a gilt sheen to them. The original "Made in Italy" foil sticker remains on one lamp. The lamps are mounted on round tole decorative bases with additional second metal bases for a flat bottom and making them taller. These lamps have been professionally rewired and cleaned, some natural markings remain on the top interiors where the flowers originate. There are natural bubble inclusions that occur during the blowing process. They’re gorgeous lamps that have stood the test of time and with the right shades they'll stand out and garner plenty of attention and intrigue.
