A beautiful Neoclassical gilded bronze lamp of Italian origin, circa 1920s–1950s. This lamp begins at the base, a marvel of cast bronze with elaborate scrollwork, floral motifs, and masks, offering excellent visual and physical stability. Above, a material resembling alabaster, shaped like an urn or bowl, provides a soft texture and warmth that contrasts beautifully with the metal. The central element is a full-length figure of a winged cherub, sculpted in gilded bronze (ormolu or gold patina). The figure stands on a stylized pedestal, holding what appears to be a quiver or a bundle of arrows, which could specifically identify it as Cupid, the god of love.
