This beautiful pair of bisque porcelain S.G.K. lamps setting on ornate brass basses were produced in Occupied Japan, during 1945 - 1952. The intricate hand-painting on the figurines, particularly the delicate features of their faces, the realistic folds of their clothing, and the floral embellishments around their feet, showcase a high level of artistic skill. The subtle gold accents on their garments and the ornate brass bases with gold beading further enhance their luxurious, antique appeal, indicating a meticulous approach to decorative design from their era. These large lamps serve as both functional lighting and exquisite ornamental home decor, imbuing any space with a touch of elegant antique charm. These lamps measure 32 1/4 inches tall by 18 inches wide. They are in great shape. The brass bases do show some wear due to their age.
