Authenticated by the Laurel Lamp Foundation, this beautiful example of the timeless H-1191 design made its debut in the 1974 Laurel catalogue. Bearing wonderful proportion and symmetry, the "Scandinavian" design ethos of the H-1191 would reappear in the 1978 Cavalcade lamp from the Pierre Cardin/Laurel Lamp collaboration. Original hardware, 3-way socket, and factory markings. Presents very well, showing small finish wear on the brass base and a crease in the rosewood veneer on the back of the lamp. Metal base footprint 9" x 5.25" Height from surface to top of wood body 16.5" Height from surface to top of socket 23.75" Shade shown (not included) is 13.75" in height.
