A pair of brushed aluminum table lamps attributed to legendary London-based mid-century modern design boutique "Habitat", circa 1960s-1970s. Consisting of a rectangular cube of reflective metal, the austerity of the design naturally highlights the beauty of every element surrounding it. A single rivet detail is fastened to each side of the base. Unsigned. Sold without shades or harps, allowing the buyer to tailor to their liking. The wiring appears to be original; lamps turn on and are in great working order. Wired for the US. Rotary on/off switch at sockets. One cord measures 42", the other 80". Felted bottom. Bottom to socket measurement is 14.5" OAH. Measurement from bottom to the top edge of the cube is 10.5".
