Circa 1980s pair of brass and pencil reed lamps in the manner of Gabriella Crespi. Flat woven rattan broken up by banded brass joinery and bases. An Italian artist and designer, Gabriella Crespi's work spanned furniture, jewelry and sculpture and centered on playing with transformative form and function. Her ultimate repertoire consisted of more than two thousand pieces, of which many were known for her use of pencil reed as a medium. Each lamp is approximately 24.5" tall, 17.5" to bulb and 7" diameter at base.
