Machined Aluminum airplane table lamp in the Art Deco style, original design was created by Frankart. This example is a later reproduction produced by Sarsaparilla in 1986. Sarsaparilla became well known for producing high-quality reproductions of classic Art Deco designs during the 1930s. The airplane form reflects the streamlined fighter plane and other speed planes of the early 1930s, featuring a long pointed nose and aerodynamic styling typical of the Machine Age aesthetic.
