Bright red Cuboluce (cube light) designed by Studio OPI by Franco Bettonica and Mario Melocchi in 1972. Maunfactured by Cini & Nils, Milan, Italy. Purchased from MOMA Museum of Modern Art in NYC during mid 1980's. Lifting the lid turns light on, lowering lid turns light off. Silver lined lid interior reflects light according to adjustable lid position up to full 90 degrees. Red cube omits white light, plug fits US electrical sockets. Ready to use, perfect for bedside reading. Unused light and 125-130 V 40 watt frosted bulb ship in original MOMA packaging.
