Wildwood is known for exceptional quality and beauty in lamps. This one is in the style of tea caddy lamps but it is large. The leather wrapped and hand painted body sits on a gilded Ming style base. The top capped in lacquered brass and the original harp bears a large brass finial. The painted design is of lilies, peonies and birds with a chinoiserie feel. The makers mark is on the socket.
