Nippon urn featuring raised Moriage decoration, gilt highlights, double handles and gorgeous open garden roses hand painted on either side. It has been converted into a table lamp with a handsome embossed brass twelve sided base the urn dates from the late 1800s, the brass base looks to be from the early 20th century. We have never taken the urn off the base so the makers mark is unknown to us, but it is a very detailed fine piece of Nippon Moriage pottery with beautiful soft colors with lots of detail.
