Distinctive curving form is made of heat formed acrylic. The lamp was designed by Joe Colombo in 1962 for the Italian lighting company, Oluce. The Acrilica Lamp is an internationally known lamp. The lamp is illuminated by a cool florescent bulb at the base of the acrylic form that washes the transparent body with a radiant light that seems to emanate from a hidden source.
