An exceptionally large glazed ceramic table lamp. By California artist Bob Kenzie. The piece dates from his collaborative period with two friends who formed Affiliated Craftsmen in Costa Mesa. It is, as with all their output of this period, an unsigned ceramic. They followed the Japanese Mengei tradition of “the unknown craftsman” and therefore did not sign their work. This large textured ceramic is exemplary of his work during the period. A large original linen shade is included.
