Description: an exceptional and sculptural monolythic table lamp or night light, post-modernist, pop, space-age, in a block of massive yellow amber fractal resin, illuminated transparently by a bulb recessed in the center of the base of the lamp, the set mounted on 4 small feet screwed into the mass\. By marie-claude de fouquières, france 1970. the bulb, currently facing downwards, shines downwards. But, an "upward" arrangement is possible, and perhaps original, to illuminate the entire monolith transparently. dimensions: h 31.3 x l 11.5 x d 11.5 cm at the base) and l 9.5 x d 9.5 cm at the top condition: in beautiful original condition. minimal surface wear and scratches, some slight chips to the lower border (invisible). in the mass, as is often the case, a few areas of cracks and/or heat have developed, but they are this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
