I simply couldn't resist adding function to this compelling bust; that is, making it into a lamp. It was plenty inspiring enough, but being something of a "lighting nut" I couldn't leave well enough alone. Now, if you position this within a foot of a wall, when the lamp is lit it silhouettes the profile against the wall and creates lots of drama. This is particularly interesting at night! If you want to remove the cord and just have the sculpture as originally intended, easily done. There's a hi-lo switch on the line so you can half-power the bulb if you want. The photos are explicit; you can see that the patina is excellent and the overall condition likewise. The plinth is made of brass and is original. Measurements: about 10 1/2 high, 7 3/4 across, and 2 1/2 deep (the plinth).
