The series has grown from early explorations with the material in our workshop, initiated by the desire to experiment with a material not commonly used in furniture today. Bringing in contemporary ways of working, the Alabaster series reduces the material to its raw essence while alluding to its rich history of ornament and sculpture.OWL is a design studio based in Barcelona that designs and produces unique furniture and objects, mainly but not exclusively in wood, adaptable and scalable to meet the needs of each client, whether private or professional.Our designs are hand built in-house using high-quality materials from local suppliers. A practice that not only allows us to be conscious and sustainable, but also to create objects that stand the test of time.
