Elegant French Empire-style table lamp, made of gilt bronze, circa 1900. The design features a fluted shaft with acanthus leaf details and a tripartite base with claw feet, inspired by the columns and ornamentation of the Napoleonic Empire. It is from an antique chandelier converted into an electric lamp. The socket has been updated, and the lamp is in perfect working order.
