A superb antique pair of monumental elegant French Rococo revival ormolu table lamps, circa 1850 in date. These lamps, crafted from gilt bronze, feature Corinthian capitals and obelisk bodies. They bear the engraved inscription "Vernet rue du Bac Paris", and are modelled with continuous scenes of carousing putti supported by a socle above a square base raised on scroll feet. The original shades from Lord and Lady Ballyedmond of Corby Castle are included.
