This art deco table lamp or bedside light was designed and manufactured in germany in the 1930s during the bauhaus period. The light features a nickel plated base supporting an arched arm that holds a cream-colored shade. The shade is made of opaline glass, designed to softly diffuse light while maintaining a clean, modern silhouette. A small push-button switch is integrated into the base, and the fabric-covered cord adds to its period authenticity. The light has been rewired with new fabric cord. It requires one e26/e27 bulb. It comes with a continental european 2-pin plug and adapter for use in us.
