Beautiful, tall, table lamp from the art deco period made by Mazda. Piece features a beautiful, tulip-shaped lampshade made of opaline, which is clean, with no cracks or chips (see photos), resting on a long body/neck, made of beech that has a walnut-colored finish, as well brass-colored decor at its top and bottom, just above the circular, metal base, which has a faux wood effect (see photos.) The lamp also comes with its original pull cord, which has an unusual, gold-colored ornament at its end, which appears to be some sort of cloaked or robed reptile, like an alligator or lizard (see photos.) Underneath the vase, there are 3, round, rubber feet that protect any given surface (see photos;) Very good and original, vintage condition, with light marks, signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure, shade, body, brass and base. Some light signs of age and use on the top and edges of the base and brass decor (see photos.) The lamp is solid, stable and works well. When lit, it emits a nice, warm glow. - Piece functions with an E27, screw-in lightbulb (not included) and has its original cord and plug (see photos.) - The shade can and will be disassembled for shipping purposes.
