Wonderful ceramics table lamp made by Michael Andersen & Sons, Denmark in the 1920s. The earthenware lamp base was handmade and decorated with owl reliefs and expressive red glazing. Stamped underneath "MA&S" and model no. 621. Equipped with a new flax linen shade. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history.
