Black Farstar table lamp designed by Adalberto Dal Lago and Adam D. Tihany and manufactured by Francesconi in 1973. The dome shaped glass shade sits on a plastic base. The large round light dimmer that also functions as an on / off switch is a characteristic feature of this black Farstar. There is a sticker with the brand on the bottom of the lamp. The model can be used both as a table lamp and a wall lamp. Farstar is described in the 'Repertorio del Design Italiano 1950-2000' by Giuliana Gramigna on Page 218 (1973). The condition of the lamp is very good. It works with an E14 bulb. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
