The Borealis LED Linear Suspension from Italamp transforms its surroundings with an airy, expressive quality. A rectangular canopy and small anchor use slim cables to suspend a curving mix of fluid steel curves, accented by a hemispherical frame for LED lamping behind twin panes of art glass. The fluid steel form, in a shiny midnight gray, contrasts easily with the textured glass, which obscures the bright glare from the lamp, casting a warm wash of light to the sides.
