Brutalist table lamp designed by tukiainen aimo ossi kalevi. Produced by moonlight ltd, finland, 1960s. The body of the lamp is made of melted copper standing on feet of blackened wood. A real eye-catcher even unlit. Aimo johan kustaa tukiainen (1917–1996) was a sculptor from finland. His best-known work is the equestrian statue of marshal mannerheim in helsinki. Tukiainen played a central role in the finnish art world of 20th century. Measures: width 5.9 x 5.9" in. (15 x 15 cm), height 15.35" in. (39 cm). Lighting: takes one small edison e14 base bulb. Wattage: we recommend up to 40w per bulb. Works on 220v as well as 110v. Condition: excellent vintage condition. Wiring: the lamp has been tested with us american light bulbs under 120v and works flawlessly, no tools or rewiring necessary. All our goods are originally wired for 220v. Delivery without bulbs.
