Vintage earthenware table lamp designed by nils kähler for hak (herman a. Kähler), denmark, produced in the 1960s. the handmade lamp base is made of earthenware with a warm brown and amber-colored glaze and features a geometric relief decor. The bottom has a matte brown finish which contrasts nicely with the glossy top part. The combination of the graphic pattern and the deep glaze gives the lamp a characterful scandinavian look. the lamp has a handmade cloudy gray pleated lampshade that spreads beautiful diffuse light and fits well with the ceramic. Marked on the bottom with hak and nils, also with the original sticker no. 85. an attractive and decorative table lamp that fits nicely in a mid-century, scandinavian or wabi sabi interior. lamp base sizes: h 33.5 cm x diameter 10 cm. lampshade sizes: h 20 cm x diameter 38 cm. total height including hood: 46 cm.
