This is an exceptional pair of blue and yellow porcelain chinoiserie table lamps that date to the second half of the 20th century. The 8-sided ceramic bases are fitted with octagonal lacquered wood plinths and double cluster lighting elements. The yellows bases are beautifully incised with scrolling vines and chrysanthemums which have been painted in deep cobalt, mottled gray and white. Both bases are in excellent condition as are the electrical fittings; the lamps are being professionally rewired.
