Space-age table lamp designed by zukov and produced in czechoslovakia during the 1970s. The lamp features a layered ufo-style shade composed of lacquered white metal with a brass-plated upper reflector. This construction allows light to diffuse softly beneath the shade, producing a warm indirect illumination. The lamp stands on a minimalist black metal wire base that enhances the light and elegant sculptural appearance of the piece. Its geometric composition and layered shade are characteristic of modernist lighting design from the 1970s. Dimensions: height: 17 cm (6.7 in) diameter: 18 cm (7.1 in) materials: lacquered metal brass plated metal socket: 1 × e26 / e27 bulb condition: good original vintage condition with minor signs of use. Newly rewired. A beautiful example of 1970s central european space-age lighting by zukov combining sculptural design with functional lighting. this piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no official proof of authenticity, however it is well documented in design history. I take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, up to 250v (europe/uk standard).the wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
