Beautiful vintage Danish ceramic table lamp designed by Jette Helleroe for Axella Keramik in the 1960s. This lamp is a wonderful example of Scandinavian mid-century modern design, combining sculptural stoneware with the warm, organic aesthetic that characterizes Danish ceramics of the period. The base features a textured ceramic surface with a distinctive decorative geometric relief band, giving the piece a subtle brutalist character while maintaining the elegance typical of Danish lighting design. The lamp has been carefully refreshed while preserving its original character. It is fitted with a new, handmade lampshade produced in Denmark by Hakonsen Design, crafted in a small Danish workshop using traditional methods. The electrical cord has also been replaced with a high-quality grey fabric cable, complementing the natural tones of the ceramic base and giving the lamp a refined and authentic Scandinavian look. A beautiful and atmospheric 1960s Danish ceramic lamp, ideal for collectors of Scandinavian lighting, Danish studio pottery, and mid-century interiors.
