This high quality glass table light was created by the renown Danish designer Michael Bang (1942-2013) for the famous brand Holmegaard in the late 1960s. Michael Bang also collaborated with other Danish glass manufacturers like Rosendahl and Royal Copenhagen. The early edition model 'Fleur' table lamp is an authentic piece from this era. An elegant piece featuring an impressive mouth-blown glass base in dark green glass with brass cap on the stem, right underneath the socket with integrated switch.Later models have the switch on the cable. Hand-crafted in quality fabric, the pleated lampshade is also an example of outstanding Danish design and craftsmanship. It is showing a beautifully detailed floral decor in hues of beige and light brown.
