A matching small and large example of the original Heiberg table lamps. They are made from white glazed porcelain featuring accents in patinated brass. The name Heiberg derives from a 1830s painting by Wilhelm Marstrand of the Heiberg family sitting in the light of one of these lights but obviously in an oil lamp configuration. This set has been converted to electrical table lamp sometime between 1950-70. Both of them is installed with fluted acrylic Danish shades that's included in the sale.
