The composition is defined by a monumental central block in richly grained walnut wood (15 w × 8 d × 40 h cm), whose vertical presence gives the lamp a strong architectural character. Applied to the front and reverse are two substantial brass plaques (14 × 21 cm each), entirely hand-engraved by the artist. The surface reveals a deeply textured, almost molten relief — organic, abstract, and powerfully expressive — with visible hammering and irregular perforations that create a vibrant interplay of light and shadow. The plaque is signed “brotto,” further enhancing its collectible value.
