Disc is a LED concrete table lamp.‎The combination of the hard and cold characteristics of the concrete with the soft fabric of the lampshade and the warm light gives the Disc Lamp a unique appearance.‎ Thanks to the repetition of the cylindrical shape, the lamp looks timeless and architectural.‎Marie Michielssen has been designing for Serax for over two decades, creating two collections every year.‎ Her lighting collection spans from small ambient lights to sculptural floor lamps.‎ Working with ceramics and papier-mâché, she handcrafts each piece with an intuitive approach.‎ Her designs range from geometric shapes inspired by constructivism and Bauhaus to organic, tactile forms.‎
