Created for The Rothschild Collection - "Monique" 1995 © In the Dutch Baroque Style is manufactured out of American Hard Maple in a rich walnut finish highlighted with parcel-gilding, the ring and bobbin-turned graduated stem resting on a rectangular plinth with foliate corner clasps joined by an entrelac-carved edge, shown with a silk drum shade. Monique is that rare lamp that has height. It brings glamour to any room. Can be used as a weapon of self-defense if need be, made out of hard maple, not for the weak. Comes with shade, wired for US voltage in great working order.
