Very unique Bedouin musician statue made of cold painted polychrome spelter metal and converted into a table lamp. The figure is standing on a carpet draped platform playing the rebab and wearing a traditional outfit. Similar statues were made in Austria around the 1930's, but this piece is not marked. He was later converted into a lamp with two separately switched sockets and new wiring. The lampshade shown in some photos is not included and just for reference. A wonderful and whimsical piece to provide light in any interior. Overall dimensions are 10" wide x 8" deep x 21" high to top of figure, and 34" high to top of finial.
