This is a rare early, well made arts and crafts period table lamp that looks lovely off as well as on. The metal in the base is iron that has been plated with copper and then given a patina to look like patinated bronze. The metal in the shade is a combination of iron for the bottom rim and copper for the corners. The iron also has been plated with copper and all have been patinated to look like patinated bronze. The slag glass in the shade is bent and is made of a beautiful flowing green glass with amber highlights. The lamp has two bulbs and older pull chain sockets. One of the sockets has the patent date of July 6, 1909. There is no maker's name on the lamp, although I have seen it in one of the early ligting books. If I can find it, I will add to the listing.
