Gorgeous antique 19th century signed A. Carrier French bronze female sculpture bust mounted as a table lamp with exquisite detailing. The works of Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse (12 June 1824 – 4 June 1887), a French sculptor and a founding member of the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts, incorporated a breadth of styles, including unembellished Realism, neo-Baroque exuberance, and Rococo elegance. The earlier bronze sculptures that Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse executed prior to 1868 were always signed "Carrier" or "A. Carrier", but after 1868 his signature was changed to "Carrier-Belleuse".
