A band of delicate gold etching surrounds this lamp and creates a real sense of elegance and formality. A parcel gilt ceramic table lamp from the latter part of the 20th Century. It works perfectly. It looks like it may have been hand painted and is reminiscent of decoration on French china for the large gold band. Works perfectly. The shade is not original. The bulbous body with an allover cream-colored glaze, flaring rim, the tall neck with ring turnings, the shoulder with molded and parcel gilt decoration, the foot with felting to the underside. CONDITION: Lamp is n generally good condition with some rusting to the harp and finial.
