A playful nod to the Japanese decorative spirit of Danish glassworks Homegaard, the “Sakura” lamp series was designed by the brilliant Michael Bang. The glass artisans of Holmegaard offer us a poetic and evocative vision of the table lamp. The spherical lamp base is made of white opaline glass, tormented with pretty blue clouds. This is the “Store Kugle” model, small ball. The Scandinavian lamp is made of opalescent glass, with blue shades. The stand is original in very good condition. It was made in Denmark by the Holmegaard glassworks in the 1980s. The manufacturer's label is still present. The lamp was rewired and fitted with a matching new handmade lampshade. This piece has an attribution mark, I am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity issues arising from misattribution, European Plug (up to 250V).The wiring of this item may be original and might need replacement, if not specified otherwise.
