This unique table lamp is created from a piece of cottonwood root that I found near an abandoned beaver dam here in southern Idaho. After drying, cleaning and staring at it for a while, I realized that it would make a beautiful and unique piece for a cabin, lodge or rustic but elegant home. The root has a small amount of copper colored epoxy resin close to the bottom and blends in unless you’re looking for it. The base is made from a cottonwood stump that I hand milled and stained just enough to bring out the beauty of the wood. The hanging style light has a hemp wrapped cord that works well with the wood. This as with all my pieces is branded with my .45 logo.
