Designed and made by Andrew Kornat Designs this useful small table was originally designed by Andrew with the intention of being used as a Sofa Table, this is why it is made in Cast Aluminium with a ceramic tile top so that it is light enough weight to be lifted and moved with one hand (as opposed to other tables in the collection that are made of heavy Iron, Bronze and Marble)The elegant, simple and chic tripod legs were inspired by the futuristic furniture styles of the 1950s, slight sputnik, slightly space ship, very Jetsons - one of Andrews favourite cartoons.Although its intention was to be used as a moveable side table it also works splendidly as a Side Table and can easily accommodate a medium to large size table lamp - shown in the images with Andrews Pineapple Leaf Table lamps as featured in the show case at Design Centre Chelsea Harbour - the UK premier Trade Centre for the Interior Design IndustryWe have this original prototype pair available to sell from stock in Real Gold Painted finish with White marbleised Ceramic tops.
