Isla Flushmount

The Isla Flushmount from Palecek lends its surroundings an inspired coastal character. A metal mount for strong candelabra lamping also supports a dome-shaped shade of woven abaca rope, its strands joined by slim strings and arranged in a concentric style. The dome’s sides are pleated, creating several small shadowed areas relieved by outstretched arcs of gathered rope and adding more depth to the shade as it mellows bright glare into a gentler glow.
