Made in Italy circa the 1970s, the lamp features a sculptural globular form composed of three elements. The gilt metal ends, with a warm brass-like finish, rest on a carved solid wood base, designed to evoke the appearance of overlapping bamboo canes, reminiscent of the refined craftsmanship associated with the Italian luxury brand Vivai del Sud. The lamp is topped with a beautiful cylindrical lampshade made of woven cane, enriched by two slim bands of curved brass, adding elegance and visual rhythm to the overall design. The lamp is fully functional and in good vintage condition.
